Mewara Group holds PESO (Petroleum & Explosives Safety Organisation) licences for controlled blasting across all Indian states, and our blast design capability represents some of the most technically sophisticated civil blasting undertaken in India. We bring computerised blast modelling, precision initiation systems, and real-time vibration monitoring to every blasting operation โ€” whether on an open highway cutting or immediately adjacent to a dam structure or urban building.

Our blast designs are developed by qualified mining engineers using industry-standard software to model vibration propagation, air-overpressure, and flyrock risk. For each blast, we calculate specific charge weights per delay, define exclusion zones, and deploy vibration seismographs at sensitive receptor locations. This data-driven approach allows us to meet even the most stringent vibration limits set by clients, structural designers, and regulatory authorities.

We specialise in three primary controlled blasting techniques: Pre-split blasting for clean, stable final rock slopes on highway cuttings and dam abutments; Smooth-wall blasting for tunnel perimeters to minimise overbreak and maintain rock mass integrity; and Cushion blasting for rock removal immediately adjacent to existing structures. Each technique is selected and optimised for the specific site geometry and sensitivity.
